Empowering neighbors and communities: Co-creating the neighborhoods
City Doctors program work with nieghborhoods and communities using a new methodology developed by Marsha Simon and Tessa Steenkamp in Eindhoven's transformation.
City Doctors uses two powerful tools to engage neighbors and give them power and control in developing their own lives, businesses and neighborhoods:
  1. "Walk the talk" education:": neighbors and planners learn to experience and "see" the future city together, designing places for their families and small and micro businesses. Space designed for and by communities, 1,000 people at a time.
  2. Apps that help neighbors and visitors to communicate among them and with the city planners and services, building a safer, more open and prosperous, independent community.
Check Marsha's videos to see how it works.
