Transforming Colon City, Panama - A systemic plan

City Doctors, as a joint venture initiative sponsored by Panama's government, community organizations and business chambers, proposed a systemic plan for the transformation of Colon City, Panama.

The Plan included all areas critical for Colon transformation, beyond rebuilding of the old town and infrastructure and proposed an innovative approach to address community involvement, crime and gangs turnaround and measuring social progress indicators based on a double-bottom line business case.

City Doctors approach focused on meeting a common strategic client needs: those of residents, visitors and investors, building a value chain and a social ecosystem as a blueprint for the new Colon.
