The "Double-Bottom line"
Applying a systemic approach based on producing three levels of results (Micro products, Macro profits and Mega social impact), PII develops a variety of projects, interconnected in value chains at the regional level.
The Sonora Institute of Technology measured the results of our PII business creation program at three levels: Micro: Products and Services delivered Macro: revenue for ITSON from consulting and incubation Mega: revenue for the community of Southern Sonora corridor in terms of: Jobs revenue (direct and indirect) Patents revenue Incubated companies' revenue
The Micro top line reflects the quantity of products and services produced during the period.
This flowchart shows how value comes from society, clients and market (Mega, in dark green) in revenue and inputs (human and natural capital) The light blue shows the Macro revenue for the organization. The grey shows the Micro results and the activities as costs before realizing the monetized value in sales or income.
