In 2016, the Roger Kaufman Awards set out to find proof — not promises — of societal performance at scale. A decade later, the map speaks for itself: from Never Again Rwanda to APOPO in Africa, from Barcelona Activa to AlVelAl in Europe, from LIAA UBA in Argentina to iCow in Kenya to ISPI China.

What makes this award different is the jury. From the start, we built a panel that spans geographies and sectors — Kaufman Center Fellows, ISPI leaders, and — crucially — past awardees who have become jurors. Gonzalo Rodriguez (RKA 2014), Efosa Ojomo (Book Award 2019), Joseph Mkuruziza of Never Again Rwanda, Sara Berbel of Barcelona Activa, Silvia Uranga of Fundación Pescar, Fernando Bach of Elementos Argentinos, Robert Woodson of Woodson Center, Yamilett Martínez of AriSon, Diego Fernandez of SISYU Buenos Aires — all now helping find the next generation of social performance leaders.

That is the design: awardees scout talent. Winners become talent finders. The network grows from within.

Nominations for the 2026 Awards are open. If you know an organization delivering measurable societal results — anywhere on the map — tell us.
